For the 2nd year running NetSupport have been recognised for their work overseas by being named a finalist in the Education Exporter of the Year category at the BESA organised Education Resources Awards.

With a global install base in excess of 8 million systems, NetSupport’s software is the preferred choice for educators in more than 100 countries. In recent years NetSupport have seen considerable growth in emerging markets as the need to drive up academic attainment through the use of technology is recognised throughout the world.

In North Africa NetSupport solutions have been adopted by the Ministries of Education in Morocco and Libya, both of which have seen the rollout of tens of thousands of PCs across the two countries as part of their ambitious plans to bring leading technology to schools. In the middle-east NetSupport School is the defacto solution for all schools in Saudi Arabia, where over 180,000 copies of our classroom technology are utilised. In Canada the Ministry of Education for Ontario have standardised with NetSupport School, as have the Ministries of Education for Chile, Mexico and Malaysia to name just a few.

During 2009 NetSupport invested heavily in establishing a partner network and localising their software for the Chinese market.

While NetSupport School continues to raise the bar when it comes to Classroom Management software, NetSupport have been quick to realise that with the increased use of technology in schools comes a need to offer other complementary support tools. Recent additions include NetSupport Notify, a simple and effective Alerting and Mass Notification tool, NetSupport Protect provides an intuitive Endpoint Security solution and IT Asset Management offering NetSupport DNA is becoming increasingly popular as schools look to manage the cost of ICT.
