The Austin Convention Center has closed its doors at the end of a busy TCEA Convention.

As well as the conference element, delegates were able to see the latest developments in Education Technology at the supporting exhibition and NetSupport staff were on-hand to demonstrate the latest updates to their range of classroom and network management solutions.

Market-leading class management solution NetSupport School is always high on the agenda for many visitors and judging by the feedback received they weren’t disappointed with what they saw. Recently launched version 10.5 has introduced an innovative link between visual and audible student monitoring. The product's new Audio Monitoring component proved a big hit, especially among those involved in the teaching of modern foreign languages where multimedia is playing an ever-increasing part.

Since its 2008 launch NetSupport Notify has become a popular choice for school’s looking for an instant cross-campus desktop communication tool and at this year’s TCEA NetSupport brought a number of new features to the table. Linux support has been added enabling alerts and routine notifications to be sent to Windows (including Windows 7), MAC and now Linux desktops and visitors also learnt how they can add extra visibility to their messages with specific branding, including school logos and colors, and even an accompanying audible sound.

Among a number of associated events held during the week, NetSupport were in attendance at a gala dinner to recognize the Technology & Learning ‘Awards of Excellence’ Winners for 2009, NetSupport’s Head of US Operations Marcus Kingsley receiving the award for Best Upgraded Product for both NetSupport School v10.5 and NetSupport Notify v2.
